ACME Physio will be on-site from ~8AM-12PM to provide complimentary assessments and therapies. Find out more about them at https://www.acmephysio.com/.
Notes
- The first match should start at 8:15 AM. No captains’ meeting is planned at this time. The match should BEGIN at 8:15 AM (ie: warmups should have already happened prior to this point).
- All warmups are 3 minutes per team (6 minutes total). Teams can warmup during the transition time between matches. If both teams agree, teams may opt to skip warmups completely to extend match duration.
- All pool play matches are TIMED.
- All pool play matches are 2 sets each to 21 with a cap at 21. One timeout allowed per set.
- After pool play, teams will be ranked within their pool. 1st and 2nd place teams from each pool will move onto Gold playoffs. 3rd and 4th place teams from each pool will move onto Silver playoffs. 5th place team will be knocked out after pool play.
- We reserve the right to adjust the first round of playoff matches so that teams from the same pool don’t play each other.
- All playoff matches will start at 0-0 and are best 2 out of 3 sets. First two sets to 21, 3rd set to 15 (switch at 8). No cap. 2 timeouts per set.
- Teams should make sure to clean up their area at the end of the tournament. Failure to clean up will result in the loss of the security deposit.
- Stepping onto another court is strictly prohibited and will result in loss of point. It does not matter if the ball is contacted prior to stepping on another court.
- Security deposit will be forfeit for any of the following reasons (not an exhaustive list): team does not exhibit good sportsmanship, team does not perform reffing duties, team does not clean up their area.
- Basketball nets are out of play. Unfortunately, Woodbridge Sports Dome has basketball nets at the sides of the courts and while they will be angled away from the court as much as possible, they cannot be completely moved out of the way.
Reffing Teams
- Teams must bring their own whistles (one whistle for up ref and one whistle for down ref).
- At the end of each match:
- Completed scoresheets should be returned to the command centre. Do not bring the clipboard.
- All scoresheets for Pool Play matches will already be in the clipboard for the respective court.

Men’s Registration
Registration is here and the page will automatically go live on Sunday, June 7 at 10:00 AM ET. If you visit the page before then, the page will not be found.
NACIVT ethnicity rules are strongly encouraged but will not be strictly enforced (ie: we will not be asking players to prove their ethnicity). This tournament is meant as a tune up before NACIVT and we ask that teams play with the spirit of the game in mind. Failure to comply may result in the team not being accepted into the tournament, loss of security deposit, and/or potential bans in future tournaments.
